For the subsequent ageing phase, the wine is decanted into small French oak barrels, containers in which it matures for approximately 24 months before further resting in the bottle for at least one year.In the glass, Tenuta Montiani's 'Terra Greta' expresses an intense ruby red colour with slight garnet hues. The articulate olfactory texture is told by persuasive aromas of ripe cherry, blood orange, black fruits, dried rose and Mediterranean herbs, combined with deep hints of tobacco and sweet spices such as cinnamon.
